Cosmetic Ingredient & Preservative Info
Transparency and safety information about our Bath & Body formulations
Our Approach to Cosmetic Products
At Eternally Adams Eve, our Bath & Body products are created as cosmetic products, not drugs or medications. That means we focus on luxurious textures, sensual fragrances, and ingredients chosen for skin-conditioning and self-care routines.
Preservative System
To help support a reasonable shelf life and keep your products safer during normal use, some formulas include a cosmetic-grade preservative system. Our standard system is Optiphen, listed on ingredient labels as:
Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol
This type of preservative is commonly used in cosmetic products like lotions, creams, and butters that contain water or botanical extracts. It helps protect the product from the growth of microorganisms during normal storage and use.
Formulation Privacy & Transparency
We never publish exact usage rates or internal formulation details. Those are managed privately in our formulation records, but you'll always see the preservative listed in the ingredient panel whenever it's used.
Recommended Safety Practices
If you have specific ingredient sensitivities, we always recommend:
- •Reading the full ingredient list for each product.
- •Performing a patch test on a small area of skin before full use.
- •Discontinuing use if any irritation occurs.
